With the community in desperate need following Hurricane Helene, Lightning captain Victor Hedman and his wife, Santa, have pledged $150,000 to those in need.

Victor Hedman — is stepping up outside of the rink. On Monday, Hedman and his wife Sanna announced they’ll be donating $150,000 to local relief efforts following the catastrophic destruction of Hurricane Helene.

The Tampa Bay Lightning selected Victor Hedman as the team captain Wednesday as training camp opened, making the big defenseman the successor to Steven Stamkos.
