Rochester police have identified the pedestrian killed in a hit-and-run crash in Lyell Avenue earlier this week. Hanif Moffett, 37, of Rochester died when he was struck by an oncoming vehicle on Lyell Avenue, near Broad Street, just before midnight Wednesday, Capt. Frank Umbrino of the Rochester Police Department said on Friday morning.
