Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Jigra, directed by Vasan Bala. In a recent interview, the two discussed their highly anticipated film and shared how the rough draft evolved into a full-fledged feature.

Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina starrer Jigra releases in theatres on October 11. Directed by Vasan Bala, the film has been produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.

Speaking to Tried and Refused Productions, Vasan Bala said, “I had written a very kachha pakka email, stream of consciousness thoughts… sent it to Karan and 6-7 hours later, he called saying that I have already sent it to Alia and I was really not happy with it.
