Viewers appear to be flocking to The Penguin. The HBO series starring Colin Farrell as the notorious DC Comics villain has racked up 10.4 million cross-platform viewers for its series premiere, which debuted Sept.

HBO’s The Penguin made a bigger splash in its regular time slot. The second episode of the series offshoot of Matt Reeves’ The Batman aired Sunday night at 9/8c, where it drew 1.6 million domestic cross platform viewers — outperforming Episode 1’s premiere night by 17%.

The Penguin is already a critical hit but we can now confirm that it's been a hit in terms of viewership as well because The Batman follow-up had the biggest 4-day launch since The Last of Us in 2023.

It was a successful Sunday night on HBO, as both The Penguin and Industry brought in solid audiences. The second episode of The Penguin drew 1.6M cross-platform viewers in the U.S., outperforming Episode 1 by 17%,
